The technical challenge
Industrial teams need continuous operating context and higher-rate records of important electrical events, while preserving temperature information and a controlled data path to existing systems.
Our proposed solution
DEWESENS develops integrated DAQ architectures combining isolated voltage inputs, RTD measurement, an autonomous controller and coordinated data logging. Continuous and event-based records are configured around the signals that matter to the application.
- 74 active voltage inputs plus 24 three-wire RTDs
- Continuous recording of all 98 channels at 1 S/s
- Common-trigger event capture of 74 voltage channels at 100 S/s

The technical challenge
Measuring small thermocouple signals on an electrically energized test object requires more than channel capacity: input-potential grouping, synchronization, sensor response and uninterrupted data transfer must work together.
Our proposed solution
DEWESENS coordinates a 96-channel Type K measurement concept using three 32-channel racks, synchronized acquisition and buffered Ethernet integration. Channel allocation is designed around the electrical-potential boundaries of the chosen measurement hardware.
- 96 Type K thermocouples through three 32-channel racks
- 1,000 S/s update rate per channel with multiplexed conversion within each four-channel group
- Buffered Ethernet transfer to a LabVIEW environment
- Continuous experimental recording over four to eight hours
